MD. Wright can offer a competitive and efficient range of transport solutions tailored to suit any of our client’s requirements, whether standard loads, oversized machinery, or complex relocations; all fully insured with comprehensive machinery removal insurance in addition to Freight Liability Insurance. All our HGVs are equipped with rip-stop canvass sheets to protect your machines from the elements. For health and safety, all our HGVs can be retrofitted with fall protection straps if required on site.

• 45ft Extending Semi Tri-Axle Semi Low Loaders

These versatile tri-axle semi low loaders feature an extendable deck for flexible load lengths. Ideal for transporting a wide range of industrial machinery such as CNC machines, presses, generators, transformers, and production line equipment. The 3ft deck height provides excellent stability, reduced loading height, and safe handling of heavy or awkward items.

• 45ft Extending Semi Tri-Axle Low Loader with Rear-Mounted 56 Tonne Metre Crane

Our flagship low loader combines the extendable platform with a powerful rear-mounted 56 tm (tonne metre) crane. This integrated PESCI crane delivers high lifting capacity and reach directly from the trailer – perfect for self-loading/unloading at sites with limited access or no on-site crane facilities. It excels in handling heavy industrial plant, awkward machinery, or containers where on-site lifting is required. The crane’s precision control and high capacity reduce the need for additional equipment, saving time and cost on projects.

• 32 Tonne 8-Wheeler Rigid with 56 Tonne Metre Rear-Mounted Crane

This robust 8×2 rigid truck offers excellent on-site manoeuvrability in tighter industrial estates, factories, or urban areas. Fitted with a 56 tm rear-mounted crane for efficient loading/unloading. Combined with the drawbar trailer, it is also ideal for moving 20ft containers, and both truck and trailer are equipped with twist locks.

• Optional 3-axle drawbar trailer extends capacity from 32t to 44t while maintaining full UK/EU compliance. Great for factory moves, 20ft containers, or when full artic trailer access is restricted.

• Access to multiple alternative configurations

We have access with minimal notice to a plethora of alternative trailer setups to meet your needs, including 420mm low loaders for tall loads, remote rear steer trailers for tight access, and curtainside trailers for delicate loads. We have agreements with local hauliers to run Special Types General Order (STGO) loads for overweight machinery.

• Abnormal Loads with Escort

We specialise in oversized, indivisible abnormal loads that exceed standard Construction & Use Regulations 1986 dimension limits. Our team handles all necessary notifications, ESDAL movement orders (Special Orders in the UK and equivalent EU requirements), route surveys, and police/highway authority coordination. Professional escort vehicles are provided where required for safety and compliance ensuring smooth passage on motorways, rural roads, or cross-border journeys. We prioritise safety, traffic management, and minimal disruption.

From single-machine moves to full factory relocations, we deliver door-to-door service across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and mainland Europe. Our drivers are experienced in international haulage, familiar with customs procedures, and equipped to handle all import/export paperwork including carnets, transit declarations, and permits. We ensure compliance with every country’s regulations for seamless border crossings.
